On March 2nd 2017 I hiked up a long Raudsgil Canyon. When I had reached the waterfall of Einiberjafoss – meaning Juniper Berry Waterfall, suddenly the river cleared melting ice from somewhere above the waterfall and the clear water immediately turned brown while the ice made its way down the river. Within a few minutes it at cleared again and the river looked as if nothing had happened. It was great fun to be able to watch from a safe distance.
