A small group of redpolls feeds and sings in my garden. A perfect little bird to practice photographing, even though it does not like to sit still for very long time.

Spring equinox
In Iceland the people always look forward to spring equinox on March 20th – when daylight becomes a bit longer than nigth until summer solstice in June and then gradually the day will become shorter again until autumn equinox on Sept 20th when the daylight period becomes again shorter than night.
