In Iceland the people always look forward to spring equinox on March 20th – when daylight becomes a bit longer than nigth until summer solstice in June and then gradually the day will become shorter again until autumn equinox on Sept 20th when the daylight period becomes again shorter than night. Aurora borealis at Husafell
By the end of February and beginning of March we experienced great shows of aurora borealis, and luckily had almost clear sky at the same time. Here we have a view over Husafell area and the nordic lights / aurora borealis.
