By the end of February and beginning of March we experienced great shows of aurora borealis, and luckily had almost clear sky at the same time.  Here we have a view over Husafell area and the nordic lights / aurora borealis.

 

The first days of March 2017 Aurora borealis / Nordic lights danced across the sky night after night.  Here we se an example from the evening of March 1st, Aurora borealis, the moon and Venus over lake Breidavatn in Halsasveit, Borgarfjordur.
