SAGA Geopark is situated in Borgarfjordur and within the site are many interesting places and nature reserve areas such as Husafell, the waterfalls at Hraunfossar, the historic centre Snorrastofa and Reykholtskirkja church and Europe’s most powerful hotspring.
SAGA Geopark’s information centre is at Bruaras Geocentre, at the bridge over Hvita river by farm Stori-As (on the way to Hraunfossar and Husafell).
